Arrows in a Target (Bullseye)

Children will have the opportunity to learn the lifelong activity of archery.  In this structured setting, we will focus and practice safety, listening skills, teamwork, patience, and social skills. This concentrated course covers the basics, and is suitable for those who have never shot a bow, or those with some previous experience. Class covers: Eye Dominance, Archery safety rules, Warm-up exercises, Archery tackle sized to Archer (all equipment supplied), Proper shooting techniques -"basic steps", Grouping & consistency, scoring.  Students will be provided equipment that is safety checked by the instructor for this course.  Please do not bring your own equipment.  This course will be instructed by Diane Ivester, current W.M.H.S. Wellness Teacher. 

*This program is for Children entering Middle school in the Fall of 2019 all the way to High School aged*
