Brown Bag Mediation and Hypnotherapy



Join Dorothea O'Regan,B.S., M.Ht., I.H., during your lunch hour in a mediation and hypnotherapy group. Learn how to un-set yourself imposed limitations, claim the importance of yourself, let go of the past and what's required within yourself to achieve your goals.

 Mindful Mediation 



Join Cindy Gittleman in a 4 week mindful mediation course. Meditation is simply directing and sustaining attention in the present moment with an attitude of openness, interest, and curiosity to whatever is happening, which can lead to a greater sense of acceptance and ease in life.  
Dates:
Tuesdays from 6pm-7pm
October 6-October 27
November 3 - November 24
December 1- December 22 
Cost : $99 for all 4 weeks
Class Limit: 15 per class
Week I. Mindful Sitting Meditation - Much of the time, we are thinking about things that have happened in the past or things that may (or may not) happen in the future, rather than fully experiencing what is occurring in the present moment. During this session we will use different objects of attention, or "anchors," to help us practice staying in the present moment.
Week 2. Mindful Walking Meditation - This week, we will begin to experience walking in a whole new way as we use the physical sensations associated with walking as our anchor to the present moment.
Week 3. Mindful Eating Meditation - During this session, our five senses (seeing, smelling, hearing, etc.) will anchor us to the present moment as we explore the process of bringing mindful awareness to eating.  
Week 4. Mindful Body Scan Meditation - This week we will sequentially move our attention from one body part to another, using the physical sensations observed at each location as our anchor to the present moment.  



                                 



Mindful Hatha Yoga 



Join Cindy Gittleman in a 4 week mindful Hatha Yoga class. Cindy approaches yoga as meditation. This slower paced class is suitable for all levels and combines yoga poses, breath awareness, and mindful awareness of the body. Emphasis is placed on taking care of yourself by listening to your body. Detailed instructions and demonstrations are provided, as well as options for modifying poses.

Tuesdays from 7:30pm-8:30pm

Cost: $85 for all 4 weeks
