This program is currently unavailable. Click here to view all of our current programs.

Domenico Pino, Instructor. Now that you have a Digital Camera, what is the best way to manage all your photos? Picasa is a program distributed by Google that lets you organize an extensive library of photos, edit them simply and quickly, and then print them either at your printer, by mail, or at your favorite photo processor. Easy to learn and providing functionality for comprehensive editing tasks with a minimum of the background skills required by more sophisticated and costly software. After installing the program in class, you will learn how to improve your images by removing blemishes, straightening, cropping, enhancing contrast and applying special effects, add text/titles, create a collage, or make a gift CD with slideshow. We’ll also cover process flow from download to export, searching and archiving. An inexpensive and effective alternative to Photoshop or Lightroom for photographers - You’ll absolutely love it. Complete program will be distributed in class for both MAC and PC. Prerequisites: You should be familiar with creating and locating folders, and managing files on your Windows PC. Class is Windows based, but compatible for the MAC (you should know how to install programs on your MAC O/S). Bring your laptop (required) to class. Mouse is HIGHLY recommended!
